Another forum session on the International Partnership Program “Green Bridge”, where CLEANTECH LATVIA’s Executive Officer Evija Pudane took part in, was held on July 12, 2017. Signing the Memorandum of Understanding with Finnish company “Kauko International” and Memorandum of Cooperation with Austrian Institute of Technology became the main event of this forum session.
Signing the memorandum with Finnish company takes its basis from the dawn of World Expo in Astana, where the heads of countries agreed on mass utilization of technologies from one of the world’s environment-friendly countries. It is a great pleasure to hear of successful implementation of the partnership program, which Republic of Kazakhstan initiated during one of the United Nation General Assembly sessions back in 2011.
Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev made clear the interest in further usage of Finnish, Austrian and Latvian experience in “green” technologies development.
Furthermore, the implementation of partnership program specificity do not imply exceptionally official international agreements to take place. Thereby a huge group of akimatas from various cities and Ministry of Economy already plans to visit Latvia for the sake of experience exchange in the fields of waste treatment facilities’, waste disposal and recycling technologies’ modernization.
